Help us meet our goal

We’re raising money to bring the Gothic Folly to Burning Man and we’ve set up this campaign with a goal of $130,000.

This project is a 60-foot-tall, cathedral-inspired scaffold structure that transforms from a minimal architectural form by day into a luminous, immersive environment by night. Designed as an open gathering space, it invites participants to move through, interact, and create shared experiences within a dynamic landscape of light.

This project explores the idea of sacred space without doctrine. Drawing from the architectural language of cathedrals, it creates an environment that evokes awe and reflection without prescribing meaning or belief.

By day, the piece exists as a minimal architectural presence: open, quiet, and structural. By night, it transforms into a luminous environment where light defines space and atmosphere, creating moments of intimacy and collective experience at a monumental scale.

It can become a site for performance, ritual, rest, or spontaneous connection, shaped entirely by those who enter it.
